Matthew Todd Miller, M.D. is on staff at Aultman Hospital, Mercy Medical Center and Union Hospital. He is board certified/eligible in General Surgery and Vascular Surgery. An Ohio native, Dr. Miller graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree from The Ohio State University in Columbus. He received his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and Public Health. His internship and residency were completed in General Surgery at Lehigh Valley Hospital and Health Network in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He then went on to complete a two year fellowship in Vascular Surgery at The Toledo Hospital-Jobst Vascular Center. Dr. Miller has furthered his training in Vascular Surgery by becoming a Registered Vascular Technician. Dr. Miller provides comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services for diseases and disorders of the arteries and veins, with the exception of the heart. Traditionally, physicians engaged in the management of circulation problems have divided themselves between the heart (cardiovascular) and the remaining arteries and veins (peripheral vascular). As a peripheral vascular expert, he is committed to stroke prevention, management of aneurysms, limb revascularation, venous disease and the preservation of quality of life. Dr. Miller believes in the principle of tailoring care to fit the needs of the individual patient. Depending on patient age, preferences and associated medical problems, many approaches are usually available. |
